B. Charles Muvdi, M.D.

  Dr. Muvdi received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in 1980 and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital and Evanston Hospital / Northwestern University Medical School, Illinois. He received Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1983 and joined St. Lawrence Medical Associates in 1983. Dr. Muvdi has received Board Certification in Critical Care and Geriatrics. Dr Muvdi is married to Dr Diane Bonaccorsi and they have a daughter and twin sons.

Robert R. Eckert, D.O.

  Dr Eckert received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. He completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia and residency in Family Practice at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Dr Eckert joined St. Lawrence Medical Associates in 1989, received Board Certification in Family Practice in 1990 and is the Medical Director at Covenant Hospice since 2000. Dr Eckert and his wife, Nancy, have two sons and a daughter.

Beverly J. Niehls, M.D.

  Dr Niehls received her medical training at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed her internship and residency in Family Practice at St Joseph Medical Center, Reading. She received Board Certification in Family Practice and completed a fellowship in Community Medicine at Temple University, Philadelphia in 1986. Dr Niehls was an educator and Family Practitioner with St Joseph Medical Center's Residency Program until 1990. She then practiced Emergency Medicine at St Joseph Medical Center before joining St Lawrence Medical Associates in 1995. Dr Niehls and her husband, Mark, have a son and a daughter.

Robin E Savar, D.O.

  Dr Savar received her medical training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her internship and residency at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She received Board Certification in Family Practice in 1989. Dr Savar had been practicing Family Medicine in Berks County since 1989 and joined St Lawrence Medical Associates in 1993. Dr Savar is married to Dr Mark Buczewski and they have two sons.

Vijay Singh, M.D.

  Dr Singh received his medical degree and internship from J.J.M. Medical College, Davengere, India in 1990. Final year electives were completed at Pritzker Medical College, University of Chicago and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia in 1991. Dr Singh completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Hospital, an affiliate of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He received Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1996 and joined St Lawrence Medical Associates in 1996. Dr Singh is married to Dr Matipay Vyjayanthi and they have a son.

Kate Peires, CRNP

  Kate completed her basic nursing training at the Reading Hospital and her nursing career has included direct patient care as well as education of nursing students and nursing management. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alvernia University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and plans to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice through Thomas Jefferson University. She received national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and joined St. Lawrence Medical Associates as the hospital-based Nurse Practitioner in April 2009. She and her husband Michael have 4 cats.
